For University of Bremen Students - I lead the social psychology seminar sessions on Morality, Speciesism, and Relationships & Attractiveness.

Morality

In the morality seminar I focus on the following:

• How do we judge others who make decisions involving instrumental harm?
• Modern examples of instrumental harm and trolley problems (e.g., the moral machine)
• The distinction between what is a moral duty versus what is supererogatory
• Effective Altruism (are people morally obligated to help in the most effective ways possible?)

Speciesism

In the speciesism seminar I focus on the following:

• Real-world scenarios where the interests of animals and the interests of humans clash
• Moral status and the concept of the moral circle
• The developmental origins of speciesism
